Five for Fighting原本是冰上曲棍球的術語  指犯規球員判罰離場5分鐘
而Five for Fighting雖然稱為合唱團  成員卻只有John Ondrasil一人
主唱、鋼琴、吉它、作曲、作詞都由他一人包辨  其餘少部份樂器則外聘

這首歌的詞是描述美國英雄"超人"
超人除了在大多人眼中正義使者、所向無敵的一面外
也有脆弱、無助的時刻
那是他身為"人"的本質  需要情感上的依靠和對自我的認定
歌詞在John Ondrasil的詮譯下  帶著幾分無奈和憂傷的感覺
